Boeing Wins Navy Contract for Sixth-Generation Fighter Jet

The U.S. Navy has awarded Boeing a contract to produce its sixth-generation fighter jet, ending years of speculation over which defense contractor would win the contest.

Navy officials have stated that the new fighter jet will feature advanced stealth capabilities, improved range and endurance, and the ability to integrate with both uncrewed combat aircraft and the Navy's carrier-based air defense systems.

The contract comes after Boeing previously landed a deal for the Air Force version of the sixth-generation fighter jet.
