Boeing's employee-volunteering program is making a significant impact in India by providing students with hands-on experience and mentorship in aerospace-related fields. Since 2023, over 200 Boeing employees have contributed more than 7,571 hours across nine partner organizations working in education, skill development, healthcare, sanitation, and financial inclusion.

Aeromodelling, a key activity in the program, introduces students to basic principles of flight while requiring careful observation, planning, and teamwork. Students learn to test their ideas, identify faults, and improve their designs, developing essential skills like patience, responsibility, and cooperation.

The program's direct interaction with aerospace professionals has broadened students' understanding of aviation beyond aircraft and pilots. They are now introduced to engineering, aircraft maintenance, design, technology, and other areas involved in aircraft operations.
