Boeing's Starliner Set for Uncrewed Launch in December

Boeing's Starliner spacecraft is set to return to flight as early as December after a troubled test mission left astronauts stranded on the International Space Station for over nine months.

NASA and Boeing officials announced Monday that they have identified the issues with Starliner's test flight and are working on required fixes before putting astronauts back on board.

According to NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman, corrective actions have been assigned based on the findings from the post-flight review.

The next Starliner mission is expected to be an uncrewed flight to the International Space Station, which could happen before the end of the year. A crewed Starliner mission is now planned for 2028, with NASA astronaut Woody Hoburg set to command that flight.
