Brighton Roads Close Ahead of Football Match

The Brighton and Hove City Council has announced temporary traffic restrictions for two roads in preparation for a football match between Brighton & Hove Albion Football Club and Tromsø IL at the American Express Community Stadium.

The road closures will take place on August 27, with the planned closure period ending on August 28. Mill Road will be shut to through traffic for up to eight hours and changed to one-way south-westwards, while Woollards Way will also be closed to through traffic for up to eight hours.

Pedestrian access will not be affected by the closures, and alternative routes will be sign-posted. The restrictions are intended to minimize disruption to fans attending the match.
