Buckaroos Suffer Third Consecutive Loss to Cisco Loboes
The Breckenridge Buckaroos suffered their third consecutive loss as they fell to the Cisco Loboes by a score of 42-6 in Chelsey Stadium on September 11.
The game marked the team's first outing against the Loboes, and despite an initial improvement in physicality, the Buckaroos ultimately succumbed to miscues that led to their downfall.
Buckaroo head coach Casey Pearce acknowledged the intensity with which his team approached the game, but expressed frustration at the lack of execution.
Pearce noted that Cisco's quarterback Colby McIlroy was a significant factor in the Loboes' success, particularly when they needed to escape pressure. 'The McIlroy kid is their get-out-of-jail-free card anytime they need to get out of a hole,' he said.
