Buffett's Apple Holdings Face Supply Chain Uncertainty
Warren Buffett's affinity for Apple is well-documented, and it shows in Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio, where Apple still represents around 20%-22% of disclosed US equity holdings, worth approximately $66bn-$70bn.
The latest quarterly results from Apple suggest the technology giant continues to operate at full steam. Revenue rose 16% year on year to $109.4bn in the third quarter of fiscal 2026 (ending June 27), a new record for the company.
Diluted earnings per share climbed 29% to $2.02, driven by tariff refunds worth about $0.11 per share. iPhone sales jumped 22% to $54.3bn, while Mac revenue surged 29% to $10.4bn.
However, the stock fell roughly 6% after the results due to management's guidance, which expects fourth-quarter revenue growth of just 9%-11%, below analyst projections.
