The California State Teachers Retirement System (CalSTRS) has reduced its stake in Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, by 2.3% during the first quarter.

This reduction was revealed in CalSTRS's most recent 13F filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC).

The fund owned approximately 8.87 million shares of Alphabet after selling 209,619 shares during the period.
