The Lehigh Valley IronPigs fell to the Worcester Red Sox in a thrilling finale at Coca-Cola Park on September 13, 2026. The WooSox took an early lead with a two-run homer from Tsung-Che Cheng in the second inning and added to their advantage with solo blasts from Vinn Capra and Franklin Arias.

The 'Pigs started their comeback trail with a Keaton Anthony solo homer in the fourth inning, but Worcester's Max Ferguson extended their lead with an RBI single in the fourth. The WooSox tacked on another run before Carter Kieboom singled home a run for Lehigh Valley in the sixth.

Colby Thomas doubled home two runs to tie the game at 5-5, and Biddison's subsequent single gave the 'Pigs the lead, but Alan Castro tied things up with a solo homer in the seventh. Anthony answered with an RBI double, but Castro had the last laugh with a go-ahead two-run homer in the ninth.

Sam McWilliams secured the win for Worcester by retiring all six IronPigs he faced, while Kirby Snead suffered the loss after allowing Castro's game-winning shot. The WooSox took the 8-7 victory and finished the series on a high note.
