Caterpillar has agreed to acquire Fabick Cat, a century-old dealership that serves customers in parts of Missouri and Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. The deal aims to support a seamless transition while maintaining strong service and local support for customers.

The acquisition is part of Caterpillar's customer-focused strategy to build on the success of independent dealers like Fabick Cat. The company operates 37 locations across its territory, employing over 1,200 people.

Fabick Cat has a long history of community involvement and attributes its character to its people, support, and facilities. The dealership's product scope includes Cat machines for infrastructure maintenance and farming, as well as aerial lifts and emergency power generation.

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Caterpillar expects the transaction to close within 30 days.
