Caterpillar Bets Big on NC Compact Machine Manufacturing

Caterpillar is committing approximately $1 billion to expand its compact machine manufacturing in North Carolina. The investment will go towards building a new facility in Sanford, which will increase production of compact track loaders and telehandlers.

The Cat Compact business supports small contractors and growing businesses with products used across construction, landscaping, agriculture, and material handling applications.
