Caterpillar Secures $11.5 Billion in New Credit Facilities to Bolster Liquidity

Caterpillar Inc., the heavy equipment manufacturer, has secured $11.5 billion in new and amended credit facilities to bolster its liquidity position for general corporate purposes.

The company entered into a new 364-day revolving credit facility that provides an unsecured revolving credit line of up to $3.5 billion and expires on August 26, 2027.

This facility includes local currency addendums allowing certain subsidiaries to borrow in Pounds Sterling, Euros, and Japanese Yen, with each currency tranche capped at the equivalent of $100 million.

Caterpillar also amended and restated its existing three-year and five-year credit agreements, extending their maturity dates and maintaining substantial borrowing capacity.
