Cavill Teams with Google for Gemini-Powered Game
Google has partnered with Henry Cavill to create a video game for its new Googlebook laptops. The project is part of a marketing campaign and will be revealed in November, coinciding with the launch of preorders for the devices.
The five models of Googlebooks start at $899 and will be available at US retail on October 4. Cavill's involvement makes sense given his history as a gamer, having talked openly about playing World of Warcraft and Total War: Warhammer III.
This collaboration is not just a publicity stunt; it showcases the capabilities of Google's Gemini-powered laptops. Menaka Shroff, VP of Marketing for the Global Android Ecosystem, explained that they were looking for 'a partner who understands the power of great technology to unlock creativity and bring ideas to life.'
