Central Louisiana Shines a Light on Manufacturing Workforce

Louisiana Central is highlighting the region's manufacturing industry during Manufacturing Week 2026. The organization will feature company spotlights, employee stories, and videos to showcase the people behind the work.

The campaign focuses on both the products made in Central Louisiana and the workers who produce them. 'We Make Good Stuff' is the slogan of Louisiana Central, which represents a range of industries including forest products, railcar production, consumer goods, fabricated metals, food products, and advanced industrial components.

Manufacturing Week begins on October 2 with a kickoff event featuring Crest Industries and regional students. The organization also plans to highlight companies such as Union Tank Car Company, Syrah Technologies, Tri-State Industries, 2 Sisters' Salsa, and Procter & Gamble.
