CES Power Bolsters Fleet with Caterpillar Deal
CES Power has embarked on a major expansion of its power rental fleet in the UK and Ireland, signing a multi-year agreement with Caterpillar to purchase Stage V gensets. The investment primarily targets the 20-300kVA segment, aiming to meet growing demand for lower-emission power for various industries such as events, film and TV production, construction, infrastructure, and industry projects.
The deal comes as CES Power continues its European expansion, with plans to make acquisitions in continental Europe following seven deals in the UK and Ireland since 2023. The agreement will provide customers with greater scale, trusted reliability, and responsive service when power is critical, according to Jordan Reber, CEO of CES Power.
Caterpillar's reputation for durability, efficiency, and reliability makes it a suitable fit for the markets served by CES Power, said Melissa Busen, senior vice president of Caterpillar's Electric Power Division. The agreement supports CES Power's continued growth and strengthens its ability to serve customers across the UK and Ireland.
