Chase Investment Counsel Corp has acquired a new stake in The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS) worth $12.07 million. The investment firm acquired 11,935 shares of the investment management company's stock, making it its 13th biggest position, which accounts for about 2.5% of Chase Investment Counsel Corp's holdings.
This is not the only recent move by institutional investors in Goldman Sachs. Vanguard Group Inc. increased its stake in The Goldman Sachs Group by 1.5% in the fourth quarter and now owns 29,014,431 shares valued at $25.503 billion. State Street Corp also lifted its position by 2.1% during the same period.
The Goldman Sachs Group's stock opened at $1,002.64 on Friday and has a market cap of $291.94 billion. The company's price-to-earnings ratio is 15.48, and it has a beta of 1.30.
