ChatGPT Adds Multi-Account Support for Google Plugins
ChatGPT has introduced multiple Google account support for select plugins, allowing users to switch between two logins without signing out. This feature was first announced by OpenAI development engineer Jason Liu and is currently available across all ChatGPT platforms.
The tool currently works with Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts, but does not include Google Drive at this time. To access multiple accounts, users need a paid subscription to Plus-tier or higher; free accounts cannot use any of the connected plugins.
Users can connect additional accounts by heading to Settings > Plugins > Gmail, Google Calendar, or Google Contacts and finding the Connected accounts option. OpenAI engineer Gabriel Chua described this feature as a 'very popular request' from users, suggesting the company is actively listening to feedback.
