Chevron and Astros Foundation Fuel Career Exploration for Houston Youth

The Chevron and Astros Foundation partnership brought together dozens of high school students from Raul Yzaguirre Schools for Success for a career exploration day at Daikin Park.

The event, made possible by the Wins for Kids grant program, provided students with hands-on learning experiences, a career panel discussion, and the opportunity to watch the Houston Astros take on the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Chevron and Astros Foundation's partnership has awarded $600,000 to organizations focused on education, leadership development, and creating opportunities for young people across the Houston area since 2018.

Through the program, Chevron and the Astros Foundation each donate $10,000 to five charities selected through a nomination process when the Astros earn designated wins.
