Chevron Expands Operations in Venezuela Amid Trump Administration Push
Oil giant Chevron is expected to announce an expansion of its operations in Venezuela, according to a US official. The company's officials and Energy Secretary Chris Wright are set to visit Venezuela on Wednesday, where they will formally unveil the new investment.
Chevron is currently the second-largest US oil company with a major presence in Venezuela. This move comes after the White House confirmed that it is partnering with North American Blue Energy Partners as part of President Donald Trump's push to tap into Venezuela's oil industry.
