Chevron has reaffirmed its commitment to partnership and investment in Nigeria as the country celebrates its 66th Independence Anniversary.

The oil and gas producer, with operations across the Niger Delta and interests in major deepwater assets, has contributed significantly to Nigeria's growth through oil and gas production, deepwater investment, gas development, local content, human capacity development, and strategic community partnerships.

Chevron Chairman and Managing Director Jim Swartz stated that the company takes a long-term view of Nigeria, with continued focus on operational excellence, efficiency, innovation, and investment across its portfolio.

The company is expanding and optimizing its assets through exploration, infill drilling, and production enhancement, supporting sustained growth in Nigeria's energy sector.
