Chevron Seeks Greater Investment in Bangladesh Gas Sector

Chevron has expressed interest in investing more in Bangladesh's gas sector to strengthen energy security and meet growing demand.

A Chevron delegation, led by Javier La Rosa, President of Base Assets and Emerging Countries (BAEC), met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman to discuss investment opportunities.

The meeting focused on increasing investment in existing and aging gas fields as well as exploring new ones. Chevron's Bangladesh President and Managing Director Shu Xiong was also present at the meeting.
