Chevron Set for Venezuelan Expansion Amid US Oil Push
US oil giant Chevron is poised to expand its operations in Venezuela, according to a US official. The official stated that company officials and Energy Secretary Chris Wright will visit Venezuela on Wednesday to unveil new investment plans.
Chevron, the second-largest US oil company, currently has a major presence in Venezuela, making it the only US firm with such operations in the country.
The move comes after the White House confirmed its partnership with North American Blue Energy Partners as part of President Donald Trump's efforts to tap into Venezuela's oil industry.
