Chevron, UPS, and VICI Properties Lead the Pack in Reliable Dividend Payers
Rising bond yields and oil prices above $108 are putting pressure on rate-sensitive assets, pushing investors to look for reliable dividend payers that offer a yield of more than 3%. Chevron (CVX) is one such stock that stands out due to its integrated model, which generates cash from both oil production and fuel sales. This supports a dividend-focused profile at a market value of around $401 billion.
According to the company's narrative, record production growth in areas like the Permian and Guyana is expected to continue, driven by capital and drilling programs that aim to keep Permian volumes around 1 million barrels per day with lower CapEx per barrel. However, the real swing factor for Chevron's income story now rests on how one pressure point affects long-term profitability and cash conversion.
United Parcel Service (UPS) is another reliable dividend payer, with its regular dividend tied directly to the cash it earns from moving parcels for retailers, exporters, and e-commerce players. The company's revenue stream includes US$60 billion from U.S. Domestic Package services, US$19.3 billion from International Package, and US$10.6 billion from Supply Chain Solutions.
VICI Properties (VICI) is a pure play on long-term, triple-net leased casino real estate, with rental income from 63 gaming properties underpinning a US$4.1 billion real estate revenue base and a market value of around $25.9 billion.
