Cisco Systems has reported a strong fourth quarter, exceeding analyst estimates and sending its stock price higher. The company's revenue for the quarter reached $17.25 billion, up 18% year-over-year.

The networking equipment manufacturer also exceeded earnings expectations, with adjusted earnings of $1.22 per share. Total product orders were up 35% year-over-year, driven by double-digit growth across every geography and customer market.

Cisco attributed the strong results to a 'networking supercycle' that is underway. The company's CEO, Chuck Robbins, said, 'We delivered a very strong close to fiscal 2026, marking another record year for Cisco.'

The company also provided guidance for its first quarter and full-year 2027, forecasting revenue of $72.2 billion to $73.4 billion and adjusted earnings of $5.05 to $5.11 per share.
