Cisco Shakes Up ANZ Leadership Amid AI-Driven Future
Cisco has made significant changes to its Australia and New Zealand (A/NZ) leadership team. Rodney Hamill, who had been leading the partner organisation for almost five years, is moving into the role of managing director, South, covering Victoria, the ACT, and Tasmania.
In a LinkedIn post, Hamill expressed his excitement about this 'next chapter', which brings him closer to customers across the region at an extraordinary time for technology and innovation. He noted that during his tenure as channel chief, the team delivered Cisco 360, navigated significant change, and built enduring relationships across their business and the industry.
Hammill also highlighted the company's future in securing, connecting, and powering an AI-driven world, which is aligned with its official launch of the Cisco 360 Partner Program earlier this year. This program integrates disparate incentives, emphasizing AI and cross-selling, replacing the 23-year-old Value Incentive Program (VIP).
Mary Armstrong, former regional manager of partner sales, has stepped into the role of director sales service, software, and accelerated growth. Additionally, Jess McFadden, country leader for Cisco New Zealand, is taking over as east managing director, expanding her remit to include New South Wales and the Pacific Islands.
