Cisco Stock Volatility Ranges from 45% Gain to 31% Loss Over Next Year
Cisco Systems (CSCO) stock has seen significant volatility over the past year, with prices ranging from $65.75 to $129.52. The market gives a two-in-three chance that the shares will finish within the range of near $74 to near $156 over the next 12 months.
According to options prices, the upside is larger on both measures because a stock can rise without limit but cannot fall below zero. A gain of about 45% higher from $107.44 would put the top of the band at about $156, while a loss of about 31% lower would take Cisco's price down to around $74.
Cisco's own recent average revenue growth rate is 3.8%, but management expects about 15% growth in fiscal 2027, with AI infrastructure sales to hyperscalers projected to increase to $7.5 billion. This growth is driven by orders from hyperscalers, which went from $1.9 billion in fiscal Q3 2026 to $4 billion in fiscal Q4 2026.
