Clear Google My Activity and Chrome History: Separate Tasks

Delete activity on Google My Activity and Chrome history separately.

The instructions for deleting Google My Activity warn that activity may remain in your browser, but clearing Chrome's browsing history is a separate task.

To remove the account record from Google My Activity, open My Activity in the intended Google Account, choose Delete, All time, Next, then Delete. To clear Chrome's History page, go to the three-dot More menu, select Delete browsing data, set the time range to All time, and select Browsing history.

Clearing Chrome history can also remove saved browser data from other signed-in devices if it is synced with your Google Account. However, this does not affect a separate local profile or other browsers.
