ClickHouse Bolsters Ties with Microsoft, Expands Database Integration Options

ClickHouse, the company behind the open-source real-time analytical database, has expanded its strategic collaboration with Microsoft. The two companies announced four major milestones at The European Microsoft Fabric + SQL Community Conference in Barcelona, Spain. One of these milestones is the launch of a native ClickHouse workload for Microsoft Fabric.

This means that users can now seamlessly integrate their ClickHouse databases with Microsoft Fabric. Additionally, ClickHouse and Microsoft have made available the general availability of OneLake read, as well as the public preview of OneLake write.

The collaboration also includes the availability of ClickHouse Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) in the Microsoft Marketplace. This feature allows users to deploy their own ClickHouse databases on any cloud platform supported by Microsoft.
