Several high-profile investors appeared on CNBC's 'Halftime Report Final Trades' segment, sharing their picks for the day.

Stephen Weiss, Chief Investment Officer and Managing Partner of Short Hills Capital Partners, chose Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) (NASDAQ:GOOG).

The selection was bolstered by Rosenblatt analyst Scott Devitt's recent Buy rating and $410 price target for the tech giant.

Meanwhile, Jim Lebenthal, partner and chief market strategist at Cerity Partners, picked Oracle Corporation (NYSE:ORCL), which is set to release its first-quarter fiscal year 2027 results after the closing bell on Thursday, September 10.

Analysts expect the company to report quarterly earnings of $1.74 per share on revenue of $19.13 billion.
