Coca-Cola has marked its 75th year of operations in Nigeria with a focus on driving empowerment through job creation, entrepreneurship, recycling, and youth skills development.

The company's activities in Nigeria have extended beyond beverage production to include programs supporting livelihoods, strengthening local businesses, and promoting environmental sustainability.

Coca-Cola has invested in various initiatives such as the Strengthening Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene program, which has provided over 16,000 people with access to safer water through the rehabilitation of boreholes and handwashing facilities.

The company's recycling initiatives have also created opportunities for local women to work as hygiene promoters, while young people received training as maintenance artisans. In Imo State, Coca-Cola restored 15,000 cubic meters of riverbank vegetation along the Otamiri River, helping protect water supplies for 25 communities.
