Coca-Cola Commits $10 Billion to US Infrastructure by 2030
Coca-Cola has announced plans to invest $10 billion in US infrastructure by 2030. The investment includes projects previously announced in California, Colorado, Alabama, New York and others.
The company's chief financial officer, John Murphy, clarified that the $10 billion figure is a system-wide total and not just Coca-Cola's own capital expenditure. It also includes spending from its bottling partners.
Coca-Cola stated that its US system contributes significantly to the country's economy, generating nearly $85 billion in gross domestic product (GDP) annually. The company supports over one million jobs and spends approximately $37 billion with US suppliers each year.
