Coca-Cola Commits $10B to US Infrastructure Overhaul
Coca-Cola is investing $10 billion in U.S. infrastructure by 2030 to meet growing demand for its products, the company announced on September 15. The funds will be used to build new manufacturing and bottling plants, expand distribution centers and warehouses, and construct office campuses across the country.
The planned spending includes projects previously announced in California, Colorado, Alabama, and New York. Coca-Cola's investment is expected to create a significant economic impact, with the company contributing $85 billion to the U.S. gross domestic product in 2025, according to an independent study commissioned by the company.
Coca-Cola President and CFO John Murphy said that the assessment reinforces the company's commitment to its American customers and communities. 'This assessment reinforces what we see every day: the Coca-Cola system is deeply rooted in America and continues to deliver meaningful value for the people and communities we serve,' he stated.
