Coca-Cola Consolidated Sees Strong Q2 Earnings with Net Sales Up 10.6% YOY
Coca-Cola Consolidated reported strong financial results for Q2 2026, with net sales up 10.6% year-over-year to $2.05 billion. The company's gross profit reached $778.4 million, while operating income was $271.3 million. Net income for the quarter was $158.8 million, and adjusted diluted EPS was $2.83.
The company attributed its strong volume growth to the Sparkling and Still categories, which saw increases of 7.0% and 9.4%, respectively. Sparkling net sales growth was driven by multi-pack, take-home aluminum can packages in large store, club, and value channels, while Still net sales were strong in convenience and value store channels.
Coca-Cola Consolidated also noted elevated aluminum costs, which contributed to a gross margin contraction of approximately $45 million. However, the company's operating cash flow for H1 2026 was $420.6 million, with capital expenditures expected near $300 million for FY26.
