Coca-Cola Bottling Company UNITED is investing $106 million in its Alexandria, Louisiana warehouse operations. The company plans to build a new 300,000-square-foot facility on 36 acres next to its current distribution center at 7400 Coliseum Blvd.

The expansion will create 50 direct jobs with an average annual salary of $65,000, which is roughly 26% higher than the median household income in Rapides Parish. The project is expected to generate 84 indirect jobs and retain 2,120 existing Coca-Cola UNITED positions across the state.

State officials offered Coca-Cola UNITED an incentive package worth $1 million for infrastructure improvements, as well as participation in the High Impact Jobs Program and workforce training support through LED FastStart. The city of Alexandria expects the construction phase to bring around 200 temporary construction jobs to the area.
