Coca-Cola's $10 Billion Investment Plan: A Closer Look

Coca-Cola has made headlines with its announcement to invest $10 billion in U.S. infrastructure by 2030, but it seems the initial number is misleading.

The beverage giant plans to continue investing $2.2 billion in capital expenditures this year, a slight increase from last year's $2.1 billion.

If Coca-Cola maintains this spending rate for the next five years, that would translate to around $11 billion in capex, not $10 billion as previously reported.

The company also stated that its $10 billion planned U.S. infrastructure investment includes new or expanded production, distribution, and office facilities, with most of those projects already announced.
