Copeland Capital Doubles Down on Microsoft With Significant Stake Increase
Copeland Capital Management LLC has significantly increased its stake in Microsoft Corporation. The fund bought an additional 17,260 shares of MSFT during the first quarter, growing its position by 34.3%. At the end of the period, Copeland Capital's holdings were worth $25,008,000.
This is not an isolated incident, as other hedge funds and institutional investors have also been purchasing Microsoft stock. Longfellow Investment Management Co. LLC, for example, increased its stake by 51.3% in the second quarter, while Fairway Wealth LLC boosted its position by 287.0% in the fourth quarter.
Microsoft's recent earnings release showed a significant beat on both revenue and EPS estimates. The software giant reported $4.74 EPS for the quarter, topping analyst expectations of $4.24. Revenue came in at $90.01 billion, exceeding the consensus estimate of $87.62 billion.
