CoreWeave Unleashes Nvidia Vera Rubin Supercomputer with Record-Breaking Performance
CoreWeave Inc (NASDAQ:CRWV) made significant announcements at its Fully Connected AI conference, highlighting the production launch of Nvidia Corp's (NASDAQ:NVDA) Vera Rubin NVL72 AI supercomputer platform. This marks a major milestone in the company's partnership with Nvidia, which is set to expand CoreWeave's addressable market beyond GPUs into CPU-driven workloads.
Coding-agent company Cognition became the first customer to run production workloads on the system, achieving up to 4.8 times higher token throughput than NVIDIA's GB200 NVL72, according to Cantor Fitzgerald analyst Brett Knoblauch. This impressive performance underscores the potential of CoreWeave's technology and its ability to deliver significant value to customers.
CoreWeave also launched Forge, an integrated software platform that unifies model training, evaluation, and deployment. This move is expected to reduce enterprise AI barriers and build higher-margin recurring revenue for the company. Additionally, Nvidia introduced the Vera CPU, designed specifically for AI agents, further expanding CoreWeave's addressable market.
