Cyrus Announces New Album 'Bass Persuades' and Rare Hollywood Bowl Shows
Singer Miley Cyrus has announced her upcoming studio album 'Bass Persuades', set to release on September 18. The album's cover art features a black-and-white photo of Cyrus from the shoulders up, holding a rose in her mouth. In a statement on Instagram, she described music as 'powerful, vulnerable, sweet and strong' and said that the title 'Heart full, heartache, every part of life in between' reflects the album's themes.
Cyrus also revealed plans for two rare Hollywood Bowl shows in October to celebrate her new project. The concerts will take place on October 16 and 18, with tickets available via an American Express presale on September 8 at 10 a.m. PT. The general public can purchase remaining seats starting September 10.
The Grammy-winning star has been gearing up for this next chapter for over a week, with cryptic billboards and social media posts hinting at the announcement. Cyrus' last album, 'Something Beautiful', peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 in 2025, and her previous release 'Endless Summer Vacation' earned her an eight-week Billboard Hot 100-topping hit with the song 'Flowers'. The star has been open about the influence of her godmother, musical icon Dolly Parton, who passed away recently.
