D23 Celebrates 50 Years of Star Wars with Exclusive Fan Experiences

This weekend, fans of Star Wars will gather at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event to celebrate all things galaxy far, far away. For those visiting the Lucasfilm pavilion, a plethora of activities and experiences await.

The festivities kick off on Friday, August 14 with a LEGO Star Wars conversation featuring Shelby Young, voice actress for various projects including a new special coming to Disney+ on September 2. Other highlights include an Ahsoka spotlight with Eman Esfandi, who plays Ezra Bridger in live action, and a fireside chat about the creative effects studio behind The Mandalorian, Grogu, and other characters.

Saturday, August 15 brings a Hasbro conversation about bringing Star Wars characters to life through toys, as well as a discussion with Doug Chiang, Lucasfilm's Senior Vice President and Executive Design Director, on designing The Mandalorian and Grogu. Sunday, August 16 features an in-depth look at curating the new Star Wars: The Experience traveling exhibition to celebrate 50 years of the franchise.

The event also includes multiple meet-and-greets with The Mandalorian and Grogu, allowing fans to get up close and personal with their favorite characters.
