Dan Bin's Fund Ditches Apple and Tesla for AI Hardware Bets
Dan Bin's Overseas Fund Sees Major US Stock Portfolio Overhaul
The Oriental Harbor overseas fund, managed by Dan Bin, has undergone a significant restructuring of its US stock portfolio in the second quarter of 2026. The total market value of the fund rose to approximately $1.65 billion, an increase of about 45.63% from the previous quarter.
Dan Bin's team liquidated six holdings, including Apple and Tesla, while aggressively building positions in seven AI hardware companies such as Intel, SanDisk, and Broadcom. Intel debuted in the portfolio as the second-largest holding, surpassing Nvidia, which had long occupied a core position. Micron Technology and SanDisk in the storage sector received significant overweight allocations.
Dan Bin stated that his investment logic remains unshaken, despite the recent market correction in July. He emphasized that the expansion of AI computing demand and the sector's long-term logic remain solid, making short-term volatility an opportunity to position for the future.
