Delta Offers Complimentary Round-Trip Travel Within US for Eligible Cardholders

Frequent Nigerian travelers to the US may benefit from a new loyalty promotion by Delta Air Lines and American Express. The offer, which runs from August 27 through November 4, 2026, provides eligible new cardholders with complimentary round-trip travel within the US, in addition to bonus airline miles.

Eligible customers who apply for the Delta SkyMiles Reserve American Express Consumer Card and spend $10,000 within their first six months of card membership will qualify for two round-trip Delta Comfort Flight Certificates and 50,000 bonus SkyMiles. This promotion is part of a limited-time offer to commemorate 30 years of partnership between Delta and American Express.

The certificates can be used for domestic flights within the US, but not for the Lagos-United States journey. This means that Nigerian travelers flying from Lagos to the US could potentially use the certificates for subsequent domestic journeys within America, subject to the terms and conditions of the promotion.
