DHL Express, Singapore Airlines Renew Boeing 777 Freight Partnership

DHL Express and Singapore Airlines have renewed their partnership for five Boeing 777 freighters based at Singapore Changi Airport. Under this agreement, SIA pilots will continue to operate these aircraft, while SIA engineers will oversee their maintenance. The planes will remain stationed in Singapore, connecting the DHL South Asia Hub with key destinations in the United States.

The partnership aims to strengthen air cargo links between the Asia-Pacific and global markets. Each of the five Boeing 777 freighters can carry up to 102 tons of cargo, making them among the world's largest, longest-range, and most capable twin-engine freighters.

Travis Cobb, Executive Vice President for Network Operations & Aviation at DHL Express, highlighted the importance of this partnership in enabling international trade. 'The renewal of this agreement underlines our commitment to building and investing in the network capacity that keeps global trade moving,' he stated.
