The US Department of State has launched an online portal for reporting suspected visa fraud and misuse. This initiative is aimed at enhancing national security by detecting fraudulent activities related to visas.

Citizens are encouraged to submit tips about potential violations through the dedicated portal, which will be reviewed by authorities and action taken against identified fraudsters.

The Department of State stated that many visa fraudsters were discovered through public tips during President Donald Trump's second term. The new portal offers a convenient way to submit information for prompt review and action.

Suspected visa fraud includes the use of falsified documents or travel plans, sham marriages arranged by brokers, shell companies, fabricated job offers, and engaging in or facilitating birth tourism.
