JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon delivered a keynote speech at the San Francisco Capital of Opportunity event, discussing the city's progress and offering his thoughts on addressing wealth inequality. Dimon credited Mayor Daniel Lurie with lowering crime rates in the city.

'You don't fix problems when you deny them,' Dimon said. 'What will make the city better? Lower crime, better schools, more housing.'

Dimon acknowledged the impact of a K-shaped economy, where some segments are thriving while others struggle. He attributed the struggles to policy failures rather than the success of big business.

'Did big business create your bad schools or crime? No, that's not true,' Dimon said. 'But can business do a lot to help? Absolutely.'
