Dimon's Coalition Aims to Tackle AI-Driven Cyber Threats with Government
JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon is rallying over 40 major US corporations to join an alliance aimed at mitigating AI-driven cyber threats and risks to critical infrastructure.
The coalition, part of the Alliance for Critical Infrastructure (ACI), will work with the government to establish joint standards on AI use, potential risks, and needed safeguards.
This move comes as regulators and industries increasingly worry that AI could intensify cyberattacks and create new vulnerabilities in the financial system and national critical infrastructure.
The ACI was co-founded by JPMorgan, Mastercard, and Berkshire Hathaway Energy to build cross-industry information-sharing and joint-response systems against cyberattacks, physical threats, and geopolitical risks.
