The Walt Disney Company has made a significant real estate purchase in Southern California, acquiring the former Yamaha Motor Corp. USA headquarters for approximately $115 million.

The property, located at 6555 Katella Avenue in Cypress, spans nearly 25 acres and includes over 279,000 square feet of office, warehouse, and industrial space.

According to Disney, the acquisition will support the company's 'long-term operational needs' as its business continues to grow and evolve. The property is situated roughly seven miles from Disneyland Resort's Simba parking lot and will eventually be used for back-of-house operations.

The sale marks a strategic move by Disney to expand its operational space in Anaheim, where it has several ongoing growth projects. Yamaha, which occupied the campus for 47 years, will lease the property back through 2028 as part of the deal.
