The entertainment giant Walt Disney (NYSE:DIS) has announced its earnings results for the quarter. The company reported $2.06 earnings per share, beating the consensus estimate of $1.88 by $0.18. This marks a significant improvement from last year's $1.61 earnings per share.

The revenue generated by Disney during this period was $25.25 billion, which is up 6.8% compared to the same quarter last year. However, it slightly missed the consensus estimate of $25.39 billion. The company's Experiences segment delivered record quarterly revenue of approximately $10 billion, driven by a 4% global guest growth and 3% domestic attendance growth.

The streaming service Disney+ has also seen significant improvement in profitability, with a 13% SVOD operating margin in Q3. Management remains on track for double-digit margins in fiscal 2026. The company plans to further integrate Disney+/Hulu and expand bundling options to reduce churn and increase subscriber lifetime value.
