Disney Brings Popular Franchises to Netflix Under New Licensing Deal

A new licensing agreement has been reached between Disney Entertainment and Netflix.

The deal will bring a mix of movie titles and current television shows to Netflix for varying periods of time.

This includes seasons 1 and 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, which will be available on Netflix starting October 4 as part of a three-month promotional window ahead of the Season 3 premiere on Disney+.

The agreement also brings all five Ice Age films to the streaming platform worldwide beginning October 4 for a three-month promotional period before the sixth movie, Ice Age: Boiling Point, releases in theaters on February 5, 2027.
