Disney Cruise Line Unveils Disney Believe's Whimsical Design Elements

Disney Cruise Line has unveiled the creative direction for its upcoming ship, Disney Believe. The vessel will feature design elements inspired by several Disney and Pixar stories, including Moana, Toy Story, and Peter Pan.

The Grand Hall on Disney Believe will serve as a central gathering space, drawing inspiration from the spirit of exploration in Moana films. The venue will be adorned with artisanal Polynesian finishes reflecting the region's cultural traditions, along with a bronze cast statue of Moana accompanied by Pua and Heihei.

The exterior artwork on Disney Believe features larger-than-life sculptures of Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story films at the stern. The characters will be depicted working together to write the ship's name across the stern using large yellow crayons, inspired by the block-style font associated with Toy Story.

The bow of the ship will feature a hand-painted filigree depicting Tinker Bell as she appeared in Walt Disney Animation Studios' 1953 film Peter Pan. Claire Weiss, Portfolio Executive Creative Director, stated that this ship celebrates 'belief in magic, family, the power of nature, and belief in yourself.'

The design elements establish the central creative theme for Disney Believe, with storytelling around belief connecting the different Disney experiences planned for the ship.
