Disney Dreamers Academy Expands Reach to Middle School Students

Disney Dreamers Academy (DDA) is expanding its reach and impact on young lives. After nearly two decades of serving hundreds of students, DDA is transforming into a year-round program designed to connect with middle school students earlier and keep them engaged over time.

The new initiative will collaborate with the Boys & Girls Clubs in Orlando, Miami, Atlanta, and Houston metropolitan areas. The locations were chosen based on Disney's existing presence and relationships with families and organizations.

DDA's transformation is a result of its successful 19-year history, which has provided thousands of students with career exploration, mentorship, and transformative experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.

The first class of 200 students in the new format will be selected by participating Boys & Girls Clubs and announced in October. Programming for these students will begin in January 2027.
