The Walt Disney Company (NYSE: DIS) has expanded its cruise fleet with two new ships, Disney Destiny and Disney Adventure. The Disney Destiny will begin Caribbean and Bahamas cruises in November 2025, while the Disney Adventure was launched in March from Singapore and is now the largest vessel in the fleet with a capacity of approximately 6,700 guests.

The expansion aims to capitalize on strong early bookings and attract new customers to its cruise line segment. Management highlights that over 90% of the Adventure's initial guests are new to Disney Cruise Line, signaling potential for expanding the customer base beyond its traditional audience.

Disney is a diversified global entertainment powerhouse operating across multiple segments including Media Networks, Parks and Resorts, Studio Entertainment, and Consumer Products & Interactive Media. Its market capitalization stands at $181.13 billion, placing it among the largest players in the Communication Services sector.
